David-Theme Detetivesible theme is practical jokes, I was lead to this decision because the boys were always playing practical jokes on people. One of the practical jokes was they put a frog in a girls underwear drawer another practical joke was they hung a ghost over the road. The theme of the story was definitly practical jokes, you have to read the book to find out the rest of the jokes Savannah-Poet

Question 2: Why do you think the auther started the book with "Joey's blood got mixed up in mine the same way mine got mixed up in his?"
Question 3: What do you think the book is like just by reading the cover?

For question 1 they answered that they thought it was like a man pact and the real answer was because some people can say that they promise to do something but not really mean it. For question 2 they said that it was to catch the readers attention. For question 3 they thought the book was about frogs. Remember not to ever judge a book by its cover

The character that I choose was Rusty from the book Swear to Howdy. Rusty is motivated by one of his best friends named Joey. Joey and Rusty hang out all the time and Joey always gets Rusty to do what he wants to do. Some of Rusty’s good qualities are that he always thinks before he does something. Some of his not so good qualities are that Joey can tempt him to do what ever he wants him to do. If his background was different he probably would still be the same person. I am like him because I am easily tempted which sometimes isn’t a good thing. Sometime I will think before I do something. I think what am I doing is it good or bad. This is the reason why I choose Rusty as my character.
